Used Audi Cabriolet

Used Audi Cabriolet

There is no doubt that Audi has built a reputation of excellence in terms of style and engine standards. It is one of the most acclaimed car brands in the UK market to date and has a couple of electronic features that are not present in other contemporary cars bearing similar specifications. Although not as fast as the BMW 3 series, the Audi Cabriolet remains a car of choice among executives, young and old. The Cabriolet shares some of the features of the A4 model. A known converter with fabric roofs that fold at a single push of a button is one of these features. The Cabriolet’s rivals may offer the same specs but only Audi can provide all the amenities a usual luxury car sometimes cannot provide, such as a functional rear space, comfortable front and passenger seats, and spacious leg and headroom. This explains the fact that one does not have to sacrifice comfort and practicality for a convertible. The Cabriolet is available in several engine models: 2.4, 2.5, 3.0, and 4.2 liter engine. Only the 4.2 version has a eight cylinder engine (V8 engine) while the rest has six (six cylinder, V6 engine). The 2.4 and the 3.0 liter engine alternative remain the most popular and are able to produce a 170 bhp and 220 bhp engine output. There is feedback when the roof is up for V6 varieties, but it is obviously reduced when the convertible’s rooftop is set down. The 2.5 version is much more economical due to fuel efficiency. Surprisingly, it is not as fast as the 2.4 model, but it was shown to reduce carbon dioxide emissions when revved up. Its 0-60 is better than other German and Italian cars with similar specs. It is highly responsive and can rev up in a span of 5 seconds or less. While it was mentioned above that it offers comfortable ride compared to other cars with similar specs, other critics comment on a rough and stiff ride. However, Audi trades a sporty driving experience for this apparent deficiency. Testers and previous owners comment on a rather ironic issue with the Audi Cabriolet. The car produces uncomfortable feedback when driven slow, but is smooth when revved up. Rear seats are strictly provided for two persons only, if you consider convenience. This is perhaps better than the BMW 3 series convertible if we are talking about seat interior quality. Selling price for the used Audi Cabriolet is between £25,175 and £42,710, while used ones can be bought between the range of £9241 and £23,703.
